AVAPS stands for automatic volume guaranteed pressure support. It gives this support by increasing the pressure (in variable intervals) to provide a constant tidal volume support according to the patient's needs. It calculates the tidal volume in each breath of the patient and adjusts the pressure to provide the balance between minute ventilation, average tidal volume and target tidal volume.
IPAP
3 - 35 mbar (up to 35.0 mbar in 0.1 mbar increments) Breathing.
EPAP
3 - 35 mbar (up to 35.0 mbar in 0.1 mbar increments) Exhaling.
RAMP TIME
OFF / 5-10-15...90 MIN.
RAMP PRESSURE
It can be adjusted between 3 - 35 mbar. It gradually rises to the IPAP / EPAP value.
TI
Inspiratory time (0.1-0.2-0.3...7.5 sec.)
I-SLOPE
OFF / 1-2-3-4-5 Length/rate of patient's breathing time (Time taken by the device to go from EPAP (positive exhalation pressure level) to IPAP (positive exhalation pressure level.).
E-SLOPE
OFF- 1-2-3-4-5 Length/rate of the patient's exhalation time (Time taken by the device to descend from IPAP (positive inspiratory pressure level) to EPAP (positive exhalation pressure level.).
I SENSITIVITY
OFF / 1-2-3-4-5 It is the sensitivity to detect inspiration (The sensitivity to detect the beginning of the breathing phase of breathing.).
E SENSITIVITY
OFF / 1-2-3-4-5 It is the sensitivity to detect expiration (The sensitivity to detect the beginning of the exhalation phase of breathing.).
BPM-FREQUENCY-RESPIRATORY NUMBER
5…35 Breaths (The number of breaths per minute.)
TUBE DIAMETER
12mm/15mm/22 mm
SIGH
OFF / 300-350-400-450…1000In one breath, it sends some extra air to the patient, allowing him to take a deep breath. The device uses this feature if the patient encounters conditions such as Apnea/Hypoapnea/Central Apnea during therapy. This feature is not suitable for use in patients with COPD.
PRESSURE UNIT
(hPa/mbar/cmH2o)
